The Fox was alive with The Sound of Music!

It was wonderful to experience such a great childhood memory on stage. Since I was a little girl, one of my fondest memories was watching The Sound of Music at Christmas time every year with my mother. Even though we do not live near each other now, whenever it's on TV we always make sure to call each other and make sure we watch. I went to the Sunday 7:00 p.m. production and it was fantastic. I wasn't sure how they were going to capture the mountains or the von Trapp mansion, but the staging was lovely. The musical talent was excellent as always. I wasn't sure what to expect because I'm so use to hearing Julie Andrews, but the actor who played Maria was exceptional. The children as well were very talented. Overall, an event at the Fox did not disappoint. It was great!
